We focus on design process as a means of achieving the desired results. Our design process is initiated by dialogue with our clients, public agencies, and affected stakeholders where appropriate. We review the client defined project objectives, survey the existing conditions and develop an assessment for all scope components. Our recommendations are summarized and presented to the project team as the basis for the conceptual development of alternative lighting design solutions or strategies. Successful alternate solutions are presented and discussed in an appropriate forum to inform and involve the design architect, owners and other consultants in the design and strategic decision making processes. These lighting solutions are further refined and distilled into a final concept design strategy. This concept plan is the strategy for development of schematic design solutions, and will guide our implementation of detailed design and construction. Our mission is to establish high quality standards and a significant role for the lighting components of the project, and successfully execute the design to realize these objectives.

Francis Krahe & Associates will provide the primary creative design and technical analysis for all lighting aspects of the project. FK&A Lighting Designers will also evaluate environmental, energy efficiency and lighting technology issues involved with the plan.
