A native of Columbus Ohio, Nick left behind his six brothers and sisters and the clean air of the Midwest to move to Los Angeles. Having studied Architecture at The Ohio State University and worked in construction for five years in Ohio, Nick naturally gravitated to LA’s fast paced Architectural Community to seek employment. An avid artist with a love for building, Nick has always been involved in some aspect of design. Whether in the classroom, on a construction jobsite, or through the scribbles and sketches at the margins of some random sheet of paper, Nick constantly seeks to further his knowledge of design and hone his own sense of aesthetic. In the position of designer at FKA, Nick has the opportunity to help with a range of project related tasks and witness as well as take part in the process of good design. Nick considers himself fortunate to be part of such an insightful and talented team, and is excited to see what the future holds at FKA.
