Scope
Lighting design and analysis for the renovation and expansion of a the Macy’s building at 251 Geary Street on the south side of Union Square. The design scope includes the exterior facade, entry canopy, roof terrace overlooking Union Square, interior entry lobby, all public circulation space, and display windows. The retail scope includes custom decorative building fixtures, facade accent lighting, and the development of interior lighting systems within the 8 storey glass curtain wall to illuminate the exterior building facade, encourage views into the building activity, and promote views out to the Union Square plaza to create an exciting and active night environment.
